I read this today and realized this was in my backyard, and
that I actually know folks at this campus. Disappointing, but it needs to come
to light…

Students Protest University Response to ‘Cholas’ Photos”
“SAN MARCOS, CA —
Students at Cal State San Marcos, joined by
a few staff and faculty, staged a sit-in outside the university president’s off
Thursday. The protesters are unhappy about the university’s response to
sorority members who posed as ‘cholas’ or Latina gang
members in photos, then posted those photos on social media during a
sorority retreat”.
