How to lose valuable employees



·         Step one: bad communication and lack of communication

·         Step two: create cliques and surround yourself with those loyal to you. Freeze out those you arbitrarily do not like and never give credit or acknowledge any work they have done for you.

It does not take much to not do this, so why do educational institutions who teach these simple things keep making the same mistakes?

I have had a couple of interesting experiences recently which has prompted me to throw a couple of pointers when dealing with potential new clients: PICK UP THE PHONE. More often than not, if you do not pick up, I am going to go to the next name on the list, and if I must leave a message, do not make me wait too long before I hear back from you. SARCASM IS NEVER APPRECIATED. The importance of handwriting

  Every few years, we see new “buzz words” being promoted in the workplace, and even more so in the education industry.   In no particular order or reason, here are a few: ·         Disruptive ·         360 reviews ·         Best practices ·         Consensus ·         Common core ·         Cooperative learning ·         Standards ·         Efficacy Etc.
